A federal judge barred an Arizona man from attempting to sell nude photos of the woman who admitted having an affair with accused wife killer Scott Peterson, court papers showed Monday.

The preliminary injunction granted Friday by U.S. District Judge George H. King bars David Hans Schmidt from "commercially exploiting" photos of Frey taken during a test shoot with a Clovis modeling agency in 1999.

Though Frey decided not to continue with the agency, she didn't pick up the photos, her suit states.

Frey claims that after she made a public statement about her romantic relationship with Peterson, Schmidt tried to sell the photographs on the Web.

Peterson was ordered last month to stand trial on charges that he murdered his pregnant wife, Laci, who he said disappeared from the couple's Modesto, Calif., home on Christmas Eve last year.

Frey's suit seeks unspecified damages in addition to the injunction.
